Why don't people want to be white anymore, esp. women?

One white guy posted I don't want to be white, I want to be black. And in the earlier question I asked, also pertaining to race, a girl said she is trying to be more like the sistas...that she's white, but would rather have the looks of a black woman.!? Is there something wrong with being white today? And why do women not want to be white? Is it considered ugly? Uncool? Boring? Uninteresting? I never hear Black, Latin, Middle Eastern, and rarely Asian women say they want to be something else other than their race, I only hear white people, esp. white women, saying this. Are we programmed by society now, by pop culture, by media, to dislike being white and whiteness? Why this diff. in self-image and cultural embracement in white people from other racial groups? Why don't you ever hear a black woman say she wishes she were white? Not that she should, but why is it just white people that want to change their race or look more like another race?
