Younger seniors? Have you found a place?

Where you seem to fit in? Anyone feel they are too young to be old, and too old to be young? At our local senior center, the folks are way older than I am. They are very nice but I feel I am back with my parents. What do you seniors that feel like young people that have just had a lot of birthdays, do for fun? I find most of the activities that others my age enjoy, uninteresting. I do not wish to volunteer anywhere as I still work part time and dont want to work for free, I am looking for fun activities, I have given plenty to society and now would like to enjoy. Thank you for your time. PS church activities are good but they dont go on every day. Looking for other ideas.. I do not enjoy needlework or crafts as many ladies my age do and am not fond of tv with all the negativity on there.
