As much as you really can't be ****** with it, talk to people. I don't mean counseling or anything. Just random chatting and such with friends (if you have any left from being a boring depressed person - if not, get some new ones). I was depressed for about a year, my mind got creepier and darker as I ran out of things to waste time thinking about, but eventually I started having useless boring talks with people who stayed persistent after my one word replies. The conversations grew and eventually I was back to normal-ish.
